SLOBC Websites
SLOBC websites are two websites woven together through navigation menus that allow you to move back and forth between them. The Public website is hosted by iPOWER and the Member website is hosted by ClubExpress. Both Public and Member website menus include both shared and unique links - links that keep you on a website and links that jump to the other website.
Note: You are on the Member site now so, navigation shows the page you are on with an orange button. When you are on the Public site, navigation shows the page you are on with a yellow button.
Note: The FAQ / Help webpage on the Member website provides instructions on how to update your Profile and join a Forum.
Road Hazard Forum
The club has a dedicated Road Hazards forum. Members are encouraged to join the forum and use it to keep abreast of current road conditions. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE GENERAL SLOBC FORUM TO REPORT ROAD HAZARDS
It is also important to communicate road hazards to the appropriate entity in each community so they can be addressed for all cyclists. A list of local entities with phone numbers and links to report safety problems can be found under Eyes & Voices on the Advocacy webpage of our Public website.
Tack Reports
Tacks have been spread on local roads over the years and more recently on Corbett Canyon Road. To assist the SLOBC in working with the California Highway Patrol, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department and city and county officials to address tack spreading incidents, the club has an online Tack Reporting Form. Please click on the link and fill out the form to help us gather the information needed to address tack problems.
